Gwymon a Merywen | Seaweed and Juniper

Mae Pen Llŷn yn enwog am ei draethau unigryw sydd heb ei ddifetha – rhai o’r gorau yn y byd.

Fe aethon ni ar daith i Ben Llŷn ym mis Mai 2021. Ein hoff gyrchfan oedd Porth Iago, cildraeth a phentiroedd glaswelltog isel, sy’n ei wneud yn hafan gysgodol ar gyfer nofio pen y bore. Fe wnaethon ni wersylla yn Mogs (ein ‘campervan’) ar ochr y clogwyn a cherdded i'r traeth yn y bore. Ein holion traed oedd y cyntaf i ddifetha'r tywod cwbl esmwyth. Nefoedd.

Gwymon a Merywen yw'r arogl perffaith i gynrychioli’r ardal arfordirol, felys hon o Gymru. Mae arogl y gwymon yn gynnil ac yn ffres felly peidiwch â phoeni am hyn.
Nodiadau uchaf lemwn, cnawd oren a ‘berenessot’. Calon o ferywen, rhosmari, ‘tea tree’ a phinwydd yn cymysgu â thusw blodeuog cain o betalau ‘jasmin’ a geraniwm. Mae coed cedrwydden wen yn gorffen y cyfuniad adfywiol hwn.

Pen Llŷn is famed for it beaches and its distinctive, unspoilt character. Its coastline draws walkers, surfers and wakeboarders alike!

We went on a road trip to Pen Llŷn in May 2021.  Our favourite destination was Porth Iago, a small cove flanked by low grassy headlands, making it a sheltered haven for an early morning dip. We camped in Mogs (our campervan) on the side of the cliff and walked to the beach in the morning. Our footprints were the first to spoil the perfectly smooth sand. Heaven on earth.

Seaweed and Juniper is the perfect scent for this sweet coastal part of Wales. The seaweed scent is subtle and fresh so don’t be put off by this.

Top notes of Sicilian lemon, orange flesh and zesty bergamot. A heart of juniper, rosemary, tea tree and pine intermingle with a delicate floral bouquet of jasmine and geranium petals. Soft musks and white cedarwood finish off this refreshing blend.
